We Did It!
With the support of our donors, allies, Board of Directors, and insight from our partners, we launched the Fund for Haitian Women in December 2025.
Three months later, we have finished a participatory grant review process.
The following organizations will receive three years of flexible, general operating support along with tailored capacity strengthening access.
Community2Community – Petit Goave
By creating self-sufficient communities and partnering with them to develop and lead programming, C2C mobilizes resources to support the transformation and dignity of developing communities into healthy and sustainable ones that maintain their dignity.Their projects address continuous healthcare, maternal health, education, girls’ leadership development, and environmental stabilization. Priority areas also include emergency preparedness/response and economic development
Fondation Toya – Port-au-Prince
Fondation Toya are known experts in girls’ leadership development. Based in Port-au-Prince, they provide services and work in partnership with other organizations throughout the country.
Lide’ – Artibonite & Coteaux
This organization serves over 1000 girls and young women ages 10 to 24 each year across eight cities throughout Haiti. Their focus is to address the intersection of vulnerability and maximum opportunity where poverty, geographic isolation and security concerns create the greatest barriers to advancement and the greatest potential for transformative change. Girls are accompanied through art centered educational programs, health and wellness and support in safe, nurturing environments.
Marijan – Port-au-Prince, Les Cayes
Founded in 2020, MARIJÀN is a feminist organization established by a group of young feminists. Its name pays homage to a sister in the fight for freedom. A young feminist organization, their programs address movement building, leadership development, gender based violence, gender and sexual rights as well as climate justice.
Join The Haitian Women’s Collective (HWC) and Haiti Cultural Exchange (HCX) for a special event celebrating the powerful voices, visions, and leadership of Haitian women. The gathering, themed “Voicing Our Vision,” will draw a direct link between cultural expression and social change.
