A Social Worker by profession, Marie Marthe Saint Cyr, holds a B.A. in International Relations and a Master’s degree in Social Work, with certifications in Middle and Executive level management and nonprofit management from Columbia University. Her nonprofit experience in leadership positions spans over two decades. As the Founding Executive Director of Iris House, she oversaw the construction of the five-story center with full responsibility for planning, fundraising, and service implementation. She led the agency to establish 66 units of scattered-site housing for people living with HIV/AIDS in New York City. She lends her experience to support over five boards engaging in national and international work. As a consultant, she provides organizational development and fundraising support services to Valme Ministries in NY and Haiti, Mereki Strategies in California, Yam Community Resource in Long Island, Saved the Children in Haiti, NY Women Foundation among others.
